My biggest struggle with lifting has always been consistency. Before working with James, I felt like I was constantly restarting, and the mental energy of trying to manage my own programming was a major barrier. I’ve been training for more than a decade and got into powerlifting and focusing on my big 3 lifts about 5 years ago. I’d had moderate success with common programs like 5-3-1 but all of my lifts had stalled out and I was struggling to make progress and stopped enjoy my training. I signed on with James about 6 months ago and in that short period of time, my bench PR increased by almost 10%. Every time I have a concern about any facet of my training, James is right there to talk me through it and adjust my program to get around any issues. He’s got knowledge beyond his years and is great at listening to what you need as a lifter. Cannot recommend him enough as a coach.
